Hi all, I am new to this forum. I have really found the forum to be useful and would like to post this query which might be helpful for all the people around, including me.
1) I want to apply to two categorical programs , preliminary, Transitional year and also to advanced positions in the same time. I have been wondering how the process of matching would take place in such a scenario. Would I be matched in two categorical programs?
2) Is it ok to apply for both preliminary and categorical positions in the same program? How about applying to two or more categorical programs in the same program. Is there any bad side of it?
Hoping to hear from u guys! |

A1) No, you will have one ranking order regardless of what programs you choose. for ex. you may also choose for surgery, categorical and transitional positions in the same residency and you will get matched based on the ranking order you submit.
A2) it is ok to apply for both preliminary and categorical positions. |
