Should I study for MBBS

I am contemplating whether to study for an MBBS degree in India. I have a BS degree in nursing and biochemistry. I want to practice in the US or any where else in the world that I would like to or need. Should I study for an MBBS then Postgraduate? Will I be able to take the USMLE after I graduate with an MBBS degree?
