what is the difference between internship and externship?

answer:
i heard people asking about observership and externship. i believe you mean that.

observership is observing all the activities that a physician does and all the things involved in taking, processing and treating a case.

externship involves more than that where you are allowed to treat patients ofcourse in guidance of a licensed physician.

Not many places provide externship as there is fear among physicians and hospitals that a patient must bring a lawsuit or sometimes medicare has some techincal issues with imgs doing these jobs.
