I passed my step 3 in 2nd attempt .Does this have any effect on my match this year?

Answer:
It is not so much of a problem. High profile hospitals may not prefer you sometimes, because they want 100% board certification. But usually all community hospitals know that you had completed step 3 in advance and it is tough to take step 3 before even completing the first year in residency.

Dont worry about this and prepare well for your interview.
