Hi!
Did somebody have experience with neurology MATCH? Does it need go thru San-Francisco MATCH and NRMP at same time? |

Yes you have to apply both of them at the same time.
for PGY1 match you to apply through NRMP for the transitional year, and for PGY2 neurology position you to apply through SF Match.
The SF Match happens in Jan and so you secure will get to know whether you got neurology position, but for the transitional year, you to wait for the NRMP match result. |

| Does it possible get a residency in Jan thru SF Match but didnt get thru NRMP for the transitional year in March? |

I am sorry I donot have personal experience. I went for IM.
But I had met some friends during my interview trail who were applying for the transitional year and neurology(PGY2). |
