Can I change my job with J1 visa?
If yes, what do I need to do?
On my contract it is stating:
If you leave your employment without having been terminated by the employer or obtaining prior written authorization from XXXXXX Work Travel, you will be dismissed from the XXXXX Work Travel Program immediately.
If you are dismissed from the XXXXX Work Travel Program for any reason, you
will be out of status on your J-1 visa
Is that true? And is that legal? |

| You will always need sponsorship. You need to find another sponsorer to transfer your J1 visa. |

What do you mean by sponsorship?
If I find another job, can I send information letter to Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) or Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)? |

| If that job qualifies for sponsorship by SEVP/SEVIS, then it is ok. |
