indian IMG chances

what are the chances for an indian IMG ( done PG from AIIMS, new delhi and three years post MD experience in india , with around 10 indexed publications) to get an ophthalmology residency match. How to get more information ?

You have very good chances. It also depends upon the score you have for USMLE.

scores have come . admin please guide

I Ended up with scores of 236/99 in step 1 Smile and 216/89 in step 2 Sad .
meanwhile increased my indexed publications to 14 ( 8 of them full length original articles in US journals ) .
Please advice :
1 ) whether i should still pursue for Ophthalmology residency considering lower step 2 scores
2) will doing a pre residency fellowship help in my case ?
