Hi. I've got an invite from a primary care peds program. If ever I match to this program, what are my chances of getting into sub specialty training later on? Is it true that its difficult to be considered for a fellowship position if you've been from a primary care than a categorical residency program?
Thanks a lot! |

yes it is usually true. depends upon research wing in the hospital. if there is little to no research done, chances of getting into competitive fellowship positions are slim. |
