hii am from india and lookng for a residensy in pediatrics in britain at PA, i have few questions 1) VISA requirement2) clinical experiance at usa3) what are safe scoresi hope u will help me findng a suitable residesythanks

Pediatrics residency is one of less competitive residencies. So the demands for an IMG is not great.

There are generally two kinds of visa for studying - J1 and H1B visa. J1 is offered by most hospitals whereas H1B visa is offered by few and is highly competitive.

Some clinical experience in US is preferred. Anything between 1-6 months is good enough.

Scores above 90 in both steps will solidify your chances. Generally above 82 should do fine too.
