chances to get IM residency

hi guys,
this question goes to moderator of this forum/root or any experienced person.
what are chances of geting into IM residency with
1.scores of 87 in both steps,first attempt
2.one US lor for shadowing a physician(chief of nephrology section) in non teaching but big hospital.
3.Green card
4.2003 graduate.
what else do i need to do in order to get into a good program?how many programs should I apply to?And what sort of programs?

If I were you, i won't worry at all. apply about 50-70 hospitals near your local community. You will definately get matched, most likely during pre-match. Only thing I would recommend is to prepare for your interview well.

thank u for ur prompt response,root!positive energy u have generated around me has made my day.
I liked ur sincere advice of applying to local community programs.unfortunately I am staying in an IMG unfriendly state.So will be applying wide to almost 50-70 programs.Need ur best wishes and prayers.
