whatb is the procedure of obtaining fellowship in ophthal/ gen surgafter doing pg ophthal in india
can we clear usmle and then are we elligible?what is the procedure? is it easy enough ?what is the cost? |

In US, it does not matter whether you had MD degree or MBBS degree in India. You need to complete all the USMLE steps and complete the residency and then go for the fellowship.
Cost is a subjective thing. You can apply for 200 hospitals or you can apply to only 50 hospitals. It is all luck and your USMLE marks and externships/observerships gained in Western countries that matter.
If you are considering that you should have preference, I think you should look to UK. |
