Hi root,
i am very anxious to know what we have to answer when the program director would ask that why we are interested in his particular program? I mean nobody would not know wat is the list to be realeased for the scramble. Everybody would try to call the program director as soon the list is realeased. So how we are goin to read about so many programs insuch a short period of time? What should we answer them?

The most important factors that affect PDs during scramble is GC/Citizen, proximity (your US home to the hospital) & USMLE scores. So you should answer the questions in a way that makes your candidature favorable.
Usually having a friend in a hospital greatly helps as he/she can vouch for your candidacy. Instead of trying to scramble and find positions everytime, it will more worthwhile to focuss all your efforts in limited number of hospitals. |

thanks Root, for your quick reply...
does your reply mean that being a FMG, not having a GC/citizenship makes our likelihood of getting into the residency very less?
Because i am not an american citizen, so how i am goin to prove my candidature faourable in that terms??
