Hi
I want to know what are the chances of getting into surgery programs? if i have scores of mid 90s but no US experience?

Getting into surgery is tougher than getting into IM or FM. Having high scores will help you a lot. My advice is to get some observership/externship experience by working for hospital. This would also help you get US experience letter.
Visa is another important issue. If you have citizenship or GC, you should find it too easy. J1 visa will be another option. Getting position on H1 visa will be tougher. |
