Anaesthesiology is little tough for everyone. Peads is one of the easiest to get through.
Your marks in the mid range ( median).
The issues that affect your selection into a residency are:
1. Visa Issues (if no visas are needed), you get a distinct advantage.
2. IMG or FMG?
3. Where are you located?
4. Which hospitals you have interviewed?
5. How many interviews you have got this time?
6. How well had your interviews go?
7. Did you receive any communication after the interviews?
etc, etc, etc.
Peads I think you should get easily if you had enough interviews. For anaesthesiology, you should have some stellar qualifications.
Having an externship or research experience could have helped. |
