Hi, Could someone please advise me how long does it take to prepare for step2? If I take step1 in Novemeber, do I have enough time for step2?
I didn't practise for many years, so step2 will take me a long time to pick up.... Considering this, for mathcing residency of 2007, if I take step1 in November, and take step2 CK and CS before July of 2006, is the time enough?
When do you need the scores for matching?
Many thanks!!!
Please help! |

You are well ahead on schedule. If you have completed all the steps and yet more if you can get ECFMG certified, it certainly provide you an edge over most candidates.
The minimum requirement for residency application is to complete atleast one step.

Getting a good score in step 1 and step 2 ck is very important for getting matched.
Also, it would advantageous if you can get externship, observership or a research position during the mean time. |
