If not residency - What else !!!

I am a FMG, passed Step I & Step with 78 & 77 respectively. Graduated in 1995. No immigration issues, have a green card since 99.

I have been trying every year since 1997 until last year for residency, Unfortunately I have not been able to secure a spot.

I have kind of given up hopes on residency (did not apply this year) What are the other options.

Appreciate any comments.

you should get a clinical research job at any hospitals which has research programs or you may apply as a research coordinator for any pharmaceutical companies.

can I work as research coordinator at a pharmaceutical company even if I didn"t take any Steps? ( I am a new IMG gratuate).

I will really appreciate if you can help me with some info's ! ( I need to find a job while I am studying)

there is a way out...

write a simple exams for surgical assistant. www.absa.net or com or something like that.

check it out in google... you should get that web site and once you r done with your exams you can get job of around 60 k a year and once you know the people in surgery , you can ask for residency after a year or so.
