hi guys i saw they are some people from canada who passed this exam..
i have a question regarding application process.
i live in Toronto and i want to go in buffalo to take step 3 as is closer to me; but that means i have to apply for NY board, which asks you for around 700 US on top of the step 3 fee, 625US.Or this is how i understood after i read fsmg web site. Then I talked to them and they said that i can apply for a licence through a state which doesnt require this extra fee, and then sit for this exam in Buffalo for example.
Where did you guys applied? i mean which state did you choose when you did your on line application?
please i will realy apreciate if you could help me wiht this...

Most of the people apply to the Connecticut board since it is easy and they don't have any requirements like prior residency experience or licensure application. There are few more states which have no special requirements apart from CT. You can check the FSMB site. Good luck!
