First Aid is good for fast review. Kap books and Blackwell's Clinical Vignettes are good to have. Remember in step 1, Q & A is most important.

A general theory suggested for preparing for the exam is to divide all the available time you have for step 1 and divide by 3.
In the first part, do 90% theory and 10% Q&A.
In the second part, do 50% theory and 50% Q&A.
In third part, do 90% Q&A and 10% theory.
This will serve you good. Getting a 90 in step 1 will go a long way for an IMG for securing residency position. |
