Hello to all of you!
I am an IMG and prepare now for Step 1. Though my dream is to study and practice ayurveda, that is the kind of medicine I believe in.
My questions are, if any of you can help me with some answers:
--is it necessary to take all steps and get the medical licence in order to be able to practice ayurveda or what is need to be done ?
--what ayurvedic universities are in the states?
--are there any clinics specialized in this?

Anything other than allopathy is not recognized as a valid medical diploma from a college listed in IMED and you are not eligible to write the USMLE.

If you want to specialize in Ayurveda in the U.S., I don't think there are any Universities here, except some clinics run by NRIs.

So I need to get a medical licence . Though, I want to get specialized in alternative medicine. You tell me there is no university that teaches alternative medicine or you don't know about it?
