when to check update and when to try oasis trick and how it is done

OASIS is usually updated 4-6 weeks after your exam date. After logging into your oasis, click on the score reports and if you see the exam date and the score report sent date, then oasis is updated. You need both dates, not just the exam date. After you see the update, click on IWA or Interactive Web Application and apply again for the Step 1 exam as if you are a new student. Once you enter the USMLE # and click on step 1 exam, you will notice a screen with red letters showing that "Our records indiacte that you have already passed the examination ...." If you do not see these words and you keep on applying till the end, it means you failed. Otherwise you passed. Hope that helps.
