hello everybody,,,,,,,,,
I'm planning for my USMLE exams in the coming year to apply for the 2007 match.
My q is :
Should I study hard and "squeeze" myself and take the whole usmle exams including step 3 (b4 application for residency), or it doesn't make any difference if I take step 3 after application ?
in the second situation, I'll have enough time to study for the other usmle exams.
plz I need to know this asap to set a date for my exam...
thanx |

| If you have step 3 completed before the application, you have more chances of getting matched, and more likelyhood of getting pre-match offers. |

| That depends on your immigration status. If you are a citizen or a green card holder, then squeezing all these exams doesn't make sense. You can take step 3 whenever u want, even after starting residency. Only if you need H1B, then it would be better to complete step 3 too. |
