Hi,
Iam desperately looking for research assistant position in US.I have tried writing step 1 thrice but i failed as iam an old graduate iam really taking a long time with my toddler daughter and unsupportive husband .Now my husband is forcing me to go back to india.can anyone advise me or show me any research assistant position for me to survive here and continue studying for my usmle exams.And last but not the least iam on H4 visa.i desperately need help or else all my dreams will go down the drain.Any kind of help is appreciated Thanx in advance. |

| I don't know any but u can take help of your PCP or in local hospital for a medical asst as you are a doc. There are short course 2-3 months or even you can take without that. |

| I would like to suggest, why not try for an OR Tech position; you could inquire with some hopitals if they have positions open and if they train. They pay pretty well and there are some down times in between that you can use for study. Go to the website hospitalsoup.com, it gives a listing of most hospitals and their websites, good luck |
