F rom Anaesthesia to Psychiatry

Dear Root,
Thanks for your wise helpful answers on this forum. I`m a 40 yr old anaesthetist working in the UK at the moment. What are my chances of getting into psychiatry in US ( provided good USMLE scores of course) and what should I do to convince them of my interest in psychiatry ? Thanks again.

Psychiatry is one of easiest residency to get through. Age may be slight concern.

But as I see it, if you have good scores atleast high 80's -90's, you should easily find a spot. Your work experience in western country would also help you.
