i have a doubt regarding application process in ERAS , can we apply for both preliminary and categorical in the same program

Answer:
Yes you can. But the PD will be confused why you are wanting so. He may probably throw away your categorical application because it will appear you are not interested in IM, but rather some other medical speciality and categorical position is just an anchor
