Recommendation letter query

Hi i am an IMG and i wanted to know if i can submit a recommendation letter from someone who is doing his fellowship or residency now ? or someone who was junior to me in medical school but is now finished his residency and working in group practice in us ?2) i hav finished my obgyn residency in india and planning to apply only for obgyn and i hav 3 recommendation from obgyn so will that be good or do i need atleast one letter from other specialty?

It is not useful to get a recommendation letter from your colleague. You generally need letters from your supervisor. Also, the three letters from Ob-Gyn is sufficient to apply for Ob-gyn residency. You dont need letters from other specialty.
