Hiii all,

Can i transfer from j1 to H1 ..let me explain -if suppose i take a residency this yr on j1 and then next yr i apply again for h1 givng hospitals then is it possible or not?

Inputs would b highly appreciated.

no. if you take the residency on J1, then you can only change to H1 through a J1 waiver .

So, if you join your residency on J1. you cannot change to H1B next year.
