I'm sorry for my little information about those medical terms. Can you tell me what 'observer' means? May I become an observer as a 5th year medical student? May I go to an hospital in britain or us as an observer? If yes, how is that scholarship acquired? What is the possible cost of this experience with or without scholarship and which hospitals or universities provide this occasion in britain or us? May this experience be used as a reference for my possible post PLAB or post USMLE applyments to the universities or hospitals in britain or us providing internal medicine residency training in the future?
I''ve heard that one of medical students in bursa, turkey has been to university college of london cardiovascular genetics last summer and shall go to glasgow university cardiology department and manchester university cardiology department for 'clinical attachment', he says on a turkish medical site. I have no communication opportunitites with that person and so couldn't ask him what 'clinical attachment' means or how he has gone and shall go to go to britain for those opportunities. (I know that he was a 5th year medical student at that time and currently is a 6th year medical student.) Do you know its meaning? Is it also useful as a reference for being admitted to a hospital or university in britain or us for a place in an internal medicine training? Is 'clinical attachemt' same with 'observer'?
Thanks for any possible information. |

I am sorry that I dont know about PLAB. But for doing medical residency in US, you donot have to pay any monies to the institution. In fact, you get an annual stipend between $38,000 to $50,000.
yes, you can post all the experience and education in your resume. |
