research for IMGs

how a foreign medical graduate can do research in britain before getting a residency in radiology.I mean it is stupid to ask the IMG whethyer they have done any research.

Answer:
IMG can find research positions and do research on his interested subject. No one forbids IMG from doing research. Some of these positions are voluntary and unpaid; some pay money for doing research. In case you are getting paid for doing research, then you might need H1b visa ( work visa).
