yes it is. But try to rush yourself into it. Scores are more important than any else.

I would recommend keep majority of your exams in Jan and Feb. That way, you might be able to get step 2 ck and it would be great if you could schedule step 2 cs by december. that way when you go for the interview you will have all the requirements that most PDs crave.
