Hi I got a Preliminary position in OBGYN. I was wondering do the attendings treat the prelim residents differently from the categorical residents. What is the scope of getting a categorical position next year in the same program or in some other program in OBGYN. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your chances are good for the next year categorical are high. But i am unable to understand why did you select preliminary position if you wanted categorical.
