There are many fraud people involved in selling books and other stuff for students preparing for USMLE - like the "musa" or "ination". Very few people are really legitimate.
Always, I think it is a good idea to understand that something that is too good to be true is not true. Also, be wary of people selling directly to the customers. If you really need the material, inform the people to use some medium so that you can trust.
For example, both you and the person you are buying the stuff using ebay. You can tell the other guy to put his material on ebay and you will buy it from ebay. The idea being that if he is worried of putting the same information in ebay, then there is something wrong with it. Also, if you happened to send money through paypal for an ebay product, you will get most of your money back. Also, you will find reviews about the person selling other goods on ebay to understand the reliability of this person. |

Electives are chosen when you are a resident. There are some compulsory and some choice-based electives one has to study inorder to complete the residency program.
Fellowships are defined by the Accredited Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) as training in subspecialty graduate medical education programs. There are a variety of fellowship programs available in different specialties. for more information, visit the link below:

Externships and observerships are clinical rotations. Many IMGs do externships and/or observerships to gain clinical experience in US. Externships involves hands-on clinical experience. Observerships, on the other hand, involves only observing the clinical work done by residents and physicians. |
