hi,
can anyone pls suggest what to read for pharmac. is *** and first aid r enough. or do i have to buy lippincott too. also tell me is high yield pharmac is good. thanks in advance.

First Aid is good for fast review. Kap books and Blackwell's Clinical Vignettes are good to have. Remember in step 1, Q & A is most important.

A general theory suggested for preparing for the exam is to divide all the available time you have for step 1 and divide by 3.

In the first part, do 90% theory and 10% Q&A.
In the second part, do 50% theory and 50% Q&A.
In third part, do 90% Q&A and 10% theory.

This will serve you good. Getting a 90 in step 1 will go a long way for an IMG for securing residency position.
